MRS. WINT IS RETIRING
Our Headteacher writes:
Dear children and families,
I am writing to let you know that, after nine extremely rewarding years as Headteacher, I will be retiring at the end of this academic year. The time feels right to embrace this change as we open a new building and enter into another exciting phase in our school’s growth.
While I’m looking forward to a (finally) tidy garden, long dog walks and helping my husband with his new business, I will also be very sorry to leave the children, staff, governors and families of this wonderful school and what has been, for me, a ‘job of a lifetime’.
In the meantime, we’ve got plenty of great things to do together at St. Agnes, and I look forward to working with you over the coming months to continue to make our school the very best it can be.
Our Chair of Governors writes:
Dear Parents, carers and members of our community,
You will be aware our Head teacher, Carol Wint, has announced her intention to retire at the end of this academic year. St Agnes has been lucky to have such a distinguished and committed head teacher for the last nine years, and we will all be sorry to see her leave us. Further details outlining how the school, and indeed the community, will say farewell to Carol will follow in due course.
The coming weeks will see the advertisement for, and appointment of, a new Head teacher. The details for this are in the process of being finalised with the aim of confirming our new Head teacher before the end of this term.
In the meantime, I’m sure we would all like to wish Carol well for the remaining few months of her role.
Chair of Governors
