School Council

We are very proud of our confident, caring and active School Council, who believe in working together with the school and local community to make positive and sustainable improvements for all.

Vision Statement

Our vision is, for all children at St Agnes ACE Academy to have a voice and contribute towards the continuous improvement of our school, local community and wider world.

To act as a voice for all children in the school

To benefit the school and its pupils

To benefit the local community and wider world

To take responsibility for leading change and improvement

To promote democracy

To be positive role models

Our School Council is made up of 10 democratically elected representatives from EYFS to Y6 so that each and every class has a voice within our school. The Council meets very 3 weeks to discuss issues, make decisions and plan for actions.

The School Council is chaired by Miss Lawton who ensures that all pupils contribute and are listened to. School Councillors are encouraged to canvas their class for issues and ideas to add to the agendas and to feedback decisions and outcomes.
